Havenhollow = Hidden gem!
Soil, fallen leaves, soft woodsmoke lingering in the Autumn air… freshly cut cedar, bound in leather—waxy, piney resins still oozing from every pore. Hint of bright, sour grapefruit in the opening. Bitter, earthy cowboy coffee. Citric effects of juniper and pine. Beautifully robust, spicy cedar. Campfires and cool nights spent inside by a gently stoked woodstove, the heat warming up the fragrant logs of the cabin walls…

Absolutely superb! Reminiscent of nostalgic summer & fall nights spent with loved ones on beautiful land, as well as walking through a Northeastern pine forest after it rains. Sillage moderate, longevity outrageous. At $175/30mL of serious extrait in a lovely bottle, I consider it an awesome deal. Eric, the owner, is also a sweetheart, which cannot go unappreciated. I plan on adding at least another one or two of his to my collection.

Bravo, good sir!!!

Woody glory!
I cite Stinkyriddle's review on Fragrantica "This is probably one of the best artisanal cedar soliflares on the market right now. It’s rich, spicy, warm, Smokey, and woody. There’s a darkness here that is brooding and austere. But make no mistake Cochise is about raw Cedar in all it’s glory. I find this difficult to wear at times not because it’s challenging but rather you must be committed to smelling like a cedar forest where incense is being burned for 12 hours or more. Excellent fragrance."
I agree to some extent. However, What I do get is a synthetically or astringent chapparal/sagebrush that dominates the scent for me. unfortunately.

This and Hearthmoor. My goodness how good they are! Performance are excellent on both! This is more of a piney take on the DNA. Red Cedar deluxe!

Smells like Maggi to me. And that throughout the entire scent journey. But somehow all Havenhollow scents smell like Maggi - the color fits too!
