Summer evening on the Amalfi Coast
I recently discovered the fragrance on Instagram and what can I say, I ordered it blind.
It actually smells very different from what I expected, but I'm pleasantly surprised.
In my opinion, this is a summer fragrance that is very high up on my list. When I think of a summer fragrance, I usually think of a fresh, very sparkling scent. That's not what this one smells like. Mandarine Fatale has that summery freshness, but it also smells like a vacation.
Sounds strange, I know, so I'll try to describe it now: Imagine you've just come back to your apartment from the beach on the Amalfi Coast. Your skin smells of sun cream, salt, sand and sun. Then you wander through a garden where tangerines and lemons are growing. You pick one, two, three and head back to the apartment, where you get ready for dinner, summery but chic. The sun slowly sets and you head to a restaurant by the sea.
Warm, sunny and with an incredibly natural tangerine note. Not overpowering but incredibly long-lasting for a summer fragrance.
The bottle and packaging are beautiful.
