Hand soap or washing-up liquid?
When I discovered this fragrance last year in a Douglas store I trusted, I thought to myself what kind of fragrance it was, Neroli Magnifique, I knew it from somewhere, of course TF Neroli Portofino, I had immediately put this fragrance in a drawer with TF. So I asked the saleswoman for a sample and BAM!
Saw it, tested it, smelled it, bought it and applied it straight away!
Had I been wrong about TF?
Definitely! Jardin smells very soapy at the beginning, almost like washing-up liquid, the neroli, orange and mandarin can be clearly smelled, but very synthetic.
Possibly the trademark of the Jardin fragrances?
When the heart note kicks in after about 15-20 minutes, I'm in 7th heaven, this rose in combination with the saffron and the lily of the valley..beautiful!
After about 2-3 hours, the heart note comes in, which definitely adds that certain something with amber, musk and sandalwood! However, we have this interplay in many base notes of different fragrances.
With this Jardin fragrance, however, I was cast under an invisible, indescribable spell. The longevity is between 7-8 hours for me, it could be a little longer, but due to the fact that it is an aquatic fragrance, I think that's pretty good!
I think the fragrance is very good overall, but also very synthetic, but as I said, that can also be the trademark of the Jardin fragrances!
