Memoires of love - a very fitting connotation indeed for this alluring fragrance. Three heavy sprays on my wrist and three sprays on my rosé silk top should give me a meaningful impression of the perfume Memoires d'amour, released in 2020.
A tangy lemon and sweet pear open the top notes. Quickly, the floral notes of the heart notes ylang-ylang and peony appear on the scene, giving the fragrance a voluminous and intense appearance. I would describe it as a sensual feel-good fragrance that is very pleasant to wear and not too overbearing. Last but not least, the base notes of sandalwood, musk and tonka bean give the perfume a powderiness, which particularly shapes the feminine character of this fragrance and becomes more and more present in the course.
Metaphorically, I associate the fragrance with an intimate relationship of two lovers. Getting to know starts exciting and invigorating. Sweet compliments inspire the feelings of being in love. The closer you get to know each other, the more comfortable and intimate the relationship becomes. A sensual feeling of familiarity characterizes this love for each other. A relationship that is remembered with pleasure.
From my point of view, the fragrance is wearable at any time of year, but especially in the warm spring and summer it seems to be a lovely companion. During the day, in the office or early evening, I would recommend Memoires d'amour. For party nights I would rather choose another perfume.
The sillage is moderate. In the durability is to mention that the scent on the skin on the skin after about 5 hours to the Skin-Scent but on the top even after 12 hours is still clearly to smell.
