Black Velvet Jean Marc Paris

NOT for Everyone
To me this is a fantastic fragrance, but it won’t be for everyone. This is heavily masculine, with the citrus, musk, and vetiver taking center stage supported by a bit of the sweetness from the cardamom.
It’s fairly linear from opening to dry down, but one thing that is actually surprisingly great about it, unlike most fragrances from the house, is that it actually performs. I’d say around 4-6hrs or so on my skin, which is long for Jean Marc Paris.
I really like the house, they make great scent profiles (like Homme Noir or PARIS Bleu (they even made an EDP it sold so well), they just don’t make ones that perform, usually. This one isn’t a beast by any means, but it leads the house in that category.
