this is true magic
I knew it from earlier, specifically the vintage bottle, but I couldn't quite remember what it was like.
Now, a little bottle has moved in with me again, and yes, it leaves me speechless. I haven't smelled something this good in a long time.
Reading through the fragrance pyramid, one might think that so many different ingredients would be overwhelming. But not for me; on the contrary, I could constantly douse myself in it at the moment (though I only have 30 ml, so caution is advised).
So how does it actually smell? If only I could describe it. Here, one wishes to be a poet or at least a writer, because I simply lack the right words.
Yes, green notes are definitely present, but which ones? You can also smell a bit of honey, just enough that it doesn’t become overpowering. It also has floral elements, but these never take over.
Animalic components are also present, but they somehow fit into the overall picture and never come to the forefront.
Everything is unobtrusive, enveloping you with a gentle hand, sometimes green, sometimes floral, sometimes a little woody.
This is true perfume artistry, blending everything together so that in the end, you don’t even know what you particularly like, what you love the most?
The version currently available for purchase, I also have, but it doesn't come anywhere close to this scent.
And once again, it’s such a shame that fragrances of this kind no longer exist and probably never will again. Therefore, we enjoy what we still have.
