Tennessee isn't too sweet: there's vanilla here, and I also detect some apple in the oak cask. Compared to Havana, which also has a sweet, dry fruitiness, this one feels a bit too alcoholic. But it's very authentically flavored.
Very good statement, mermaid! It’s well done for what it aims to be, especially from a quality standpoint. Unfortunately, fresh scents aren’t my thing, and the sweet element (vanilla) at the end is too strong for me.
The topic is spot on. At first, I had that queasy feeling in my stomach, similar to Roxo. You know what I mean. :-)
Test two: caramel vanilla tobacco elements, a bit "chocolatey" in a way.
But honestly, a blind buy wouldn't have satisfied me. Hainan suits me better.
I was really hoping for more focus on the beaver and the wood here; I was super curious about it and had wanted to test it for a while. Your statement is quite sobering, I didn't imagine it to be that alcoholic.
The wood is really authentically incorporated here. The alcoholic note stays with me until the end. I've adjusted the rating. You get whiskey in an oak barrel. That was Marius' goal. :-)
If you enjoy whisky-soaked, smoky woods (with a slightly musty note at first), this is perfect for you.
I get a distinct apple-vanilla note that has a hint of cinnamon-like a flambéed dessert-without being overly gourmand.
Marius has really nailed the Tennessee theme.
I’m not a fan of "boozy" scents. @TheBasti described the fragrance excellently in his review.
Thanks @Ropanski2020 for this very special Jinkoh.
@Seejungfrau Thanks for the mention and the compliment :D I agree, it definitely falls into the category of niche fragrances :D Very, very unique piece ^^

Interesting scent.
I'm torn. Still, I don't like smelling like whiskey outside.
The apple-tobacco-whiskey dominates on me.
