Honest opinion

I haven't smelled many oud fragrances before, but I was very interested in this one. It was discussed very controversially. I finally got to sample it and what can I say, I am pleasantly surprised. I will neither hate nor hype here, but report soberly and neutrally. Yes, it is animalic at first. My wife says it smells like rose with thin diapers from our two-year-old. I actually think it reminds me of a cowshed - but as a former village child, that's nothing negative for me. However, the animalistic scent wears off quite quickly. The longer the Oud 31 is on the skin, the hornier it gets. It develops in a creamy, rosy and vanilla direction. The longevity is good and so is the sillage. After about 6 hours, I only notice it subtly. All in all, it's something different, but the top note is obviously off-putting for most people. I think it's cool, but for the price, I'll probably never buy it.
