Grab the Plum... Hic

What a lush, only to be found in the bay,
your alcohol-soaked plum is quite a sensation.

Stinging, pricking, the 90s meet the Orient & roses,
Many have memories of you, but rather the loose ones.

Not as soft as some of today’s fruits,
but you don’t shock the people either.

For a rainy autumn day, an evening in a bar,
yes, you would shine purple, you would be the star.

Your now-called money is not quite worth it in quality,
unless a fan, who yearns for you inside.

I’ve never smelled such a plum before,
you are unique & mischievous like a sprite.

Cardamom makes you sweet, Frapin could sell you well,
you are better than today’s market, that’s for sure.

Plum schnapps meets rose sugar & youth,
to be like you, that would be a virtue today.

Bottle: simple but with striking details
Sillage: rather autumnal & alcohol-sweet, yet not just a party-goer.
Longevity: 6-7 hours - today’s Lagerfelds dream of that!

Conclusion: juicy, deeply dark Oriental plums soaked in hard alcohol - yet another fine fellow who has left us!
