stolen beauty sleep

Last week, a Rossi brochure fluttered into the house - with fragrance offers at tempting prices.
Among them was Karleidoscope, which was unknown to me until now.
But the price was hot - and Mr. Karl has not disappointed me with his fragrance creations so far.

Unfortunately, there is no Centaur branch in my vicinity, so I had to enlist my friend, who can reach one on foot.

Knowing that from noon onwards you only get a shake of the head and a condescending look about your bohemian life from the staff, I bothered my friend with the request to interrupt her beauty sleep half an hour earlier, to rush to Rossi before her shift began and get me the little Karl.
After I convincingly assured her that she was already beautiful enough, she agreed to the endeavor.

And indeed, her effort was worth it.

Karleidoscope delights me right from the start with two of my favorite ingredients - neroli and violet leaf.
This combination of coolness and familiarity is very attractive.
The freesia is bright, and the heliotrope is softly sweet and shimmering - a changing mixture - like the light that falls through the packaging when you turn it like a kaleidoscope before the astonished eye.
For me, as a playful child, a welcome and original gimmick.
With the exotic patchouli and the mysterious tonka bean, the kaleidoscope reveals even more facets that do justice to its name.

It is indeed a light-filled, transparent scent that still has presence and radiance.

I have sprayed it on again now, at bedtime, and hope for light, bright dreams.

I'm not a fan of Lagerfeld, but I'd love to have a nice friend like that! Trophy for the dazzling description!
