The Christmas package from a dear perfumer reached me at just the right moment, as I was tired and exhausted from a long drive.

My friend, on the other hand, was lively and practically "electrified" since we had just picked up his new electric car.

I glanced at the inviting sofa - longing to lie down.
But he had so many questions - and I didn't want to spoil his good mood.

So I found Karl in the package - along with the address.

And the first spray already woke me from my fatigue.
Fresh and clear, the scent approached me - and despite its green coolness, it fits into winter - as the bright winter sun shines within it.
The mandarin has an aquatic quality, and the bitter fruity grapefruit is softened by the violet leaf.
The floral notes are also fresh, and patchouli and sandalwood provide creaminess.

I am reminded of Gabrielle - but Karl offers more green liveliness.

I can concentrate again and answer questions - which makes my friend very happy.
Shared joy is indeed double joy.
