A Harmonious Fragrance

wafts into your nose when you apply this little gem from Karl Lagerfeld.

At first, it is citrus-fruity and slightly green, but soon the flowers make their presence known.
The base soon adds a lot of warmth and rounds off the fragrance.
A beautiful all-year-round scent.

Winter Freshness

The Christmas package from a dear perfumer reached me at just the right moment, as I was tired and exhausted from a long drive.

My friend, on the other hand, was lively and practically "electrified" since we had just picked up his new electric car.

I glanced at the inviting sofa - longing to lie down.
But he had so many questions - and I didn't want to spoil his good mood.

So I found Karl in the package - along with the address.

And the first spray already woke me from my fatigue.
Fresh and clear, the scent approached me - and despite its green coolness, it fits into winter - as the bright winter sun shines within it.
The mandarin has an aquatic quality, and the bitter fruity grapefruit is softened by the violet leaf.
The floral notes are also fresh, and patchouli and sandalwood provide creaminess.

I am reminded of Gabrielle - but Karl offers more green liveliness.

I can concentrate again and answer questions - which makes my friend very happy.
Shared joy is indeed double joy.

My heartfelt thanks for this cool scent - to the dear giver.

But more beautiful than initially thought

I have already written a statement about this fragrance, but yesterday I tested Paris 21 Rue Saint-Guillaume again and must say it is indeed more beautiful than I thought... It is briefly zesty and slightly green upon spraying, but quickly becomes floral, warm, and very creamy. None of the flowers stand out particularly; they have been beautifully combined.
The scent is very feminine, romantic, well-groomed, and also elegantly understated, which truly makes it an all-rounder.
Price/performance is really great :)

I’m pleasantly surprised. Gucci "Bloom" meets "Florabotanica". Herbal note, heavy sweetness, creamy and long-lasting scent. Top for a drugstore fragrance.
