Garden of happiness
I recently spent a few wonderful days in picturesque Milan and made a discovery that has the potential to catapult my olfactory barometer to a permanent high.
I strolled past Milan Cathedral through the fascinating Vittorio Emmanuele Secondo temple of consumption towards La Scala, where the street soon narrows and leads into the delightful Via Brera. Inviting little stores lined the alley to the right and left, and all of a sudden I found myself in a beautiful perfume store that seemed like paradise. Fragrant essences and ornate glass bottles as far as the eye could see - admittedly, it wasn't really big, but the individual fragrance samples presented to me by a friendly young Italian woman were all the more impressive. Intuiting my taste immediately, she handed me a turquoise-blue fiole with a whitish marbled spherical lid, which was a true work of art in itself! A careful sniff of the sprayed card and I found myself in scented heaven... or rather in the enchanting, long-forgotten garden of childhood, surrounded by the fresh, cooling shade of the trees, my bare feet in the soft grass and in front of me sun-drenched blackcurrant bushes, black, red and white berries that shone heavily on the branches in dense clusters as a juicy, sweet temptation.
A beguiling lightness developed on the skin thanks to fruity, resinous citrus and a seductive aroma of sun-warmed blackcurrant leaves, which accompanied me for the rest of the day.
Needless to say, the beautiful blue bottle moved into my home the next day.
I have found my garden of happiness...
Since then, I could call Kérylos by L'Objet my signature summer fragrance without hesitation. It enchants with its refreshing juiciness without ever being too sweet and easily lasts 6-8 hours on my skin, of which I celebrate every breath!
Incidentally, I also came across the "little brother" of Kérylos a few days later and put it in my suitcase: Arancia Rosso by Laboratorio Olfattivo, which beautifully enhances the aroma of freshly sliced blood oranges with this very same enchanting currant. Unfortunately, it is much lighter in formulation and therefore evaporates much more quickly. It also seems to be a little less artfully blended to my nose, but still worth a detailed test!!!!
