Sugary Rosewater

I really enjoy this one. I got this in a Le Monde Gourmand sampler set, and I received 7 different scents. I love rose and sugar, so this was right up my alley. This is very much a sugary rosewater scent as opposed to a strong, uberfloral rose. It's very light and clean. The longevity was average on me. It started fading after about 5 hours or so, and the sillage is easily buildable depending on your tastes. (Though don't expect to ever have a loud entrance or exit, it is NOT that kind of fragrance.) This is wonderful for a spring or summer visit to a garden.

Simple rosewater scent

Day six of reviewing my travel size Le Monde Gourmand fragrances I got from Winners/Homesense. I've been seeing bottles of this brand on the shelves since forever, but never wanted to blind-buy a full bottle. I stumbled upon two discovery sets in travel size format at a reasonable price and this is what made me get them. I've always been curious to compare their price with their overall performance, so here we go!

Pretty simple rosewater scent. Fresh, slightly sweet. Feminine-leaning, the rose is a bit juvenile because of its fresh sweetness. I also felt like I'd already smelled this scent in a scented body lotion or a scented body wash (can't say exactly from what brand). Easy to wear for hot days and moments when you want something floral, sweet and uncomplicated. Unfortunately for me, it's not something I particularly want to smell so it won't make it as a full bottle, but that's only me. Still, it's one of the better scents from Le Monde Gourmand I've smelled up until now. Possibly a safe blind-buy if you already know you like fresh, floral scents!

Macaron Rose

Just like @Danabird’s statement, this is a lightly sugared rose water. It reminds me specifically of Method Pure Peace Body Wash (which lists peony, rosewater, and pink Himalayan salt as its notes) from Target. I’d say it’s practically 1:1 dupe.

I’m not sure what the naming convention is here, but each LMG scent is numbered. This one is labeled 002, however, there’s another scent called “Rose Riche” that’s also 002, so take note! This one’s a powdery rosewater, I’d say Rose Riche is a fruitier lychee rose (even if those notes don’t list it).
