Once again, a review of a Lattafa. Here is a fragrance from the Lattafa Pride line, which is relatively expensive for this brand at €40. However, the Pride fragrances feel extremely high-quality and could easily be sold for double the price. This Art of Arabia series is extremely popular, starting with the "Art of Arabia I | Lattafa Pride," which resembles LV Imagination. The Art of Arabia II is not as hyped and leans towards the Pegasus Exclusif direction. This III is referred to as a dupe for XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber and "The One Luminous Night | Dolce & Gabbana." I am not familiar with either. The former is far too expensive for just 50ml, and the latter has already been discontinued. In both cases, it’s nice to have an alternative. Even though I don't know the Clive Christian, I don't think this Lattafa matches its quality, but budget-friendly alternatives are sometimes worth buying. If you are looking for perfection and attention to detail, Lattafa might not be the right choice. However, in terms of price-performance ratio, this is a 10 out of 10.
Alongside the Art of Arabia line, the Art of Nature line is currently emerging, which is very similar in presentation. The packaging of this series also resembles it, and in terms of scent, you get alternatives to Althair and Oud Maracuja. But now, back to the Art of Arabia line, which has been on the market for a while. The Art of Arabia III has been somewhat hyped lately, just like the supposedly similar Blonde Amber. For around €35 for 100ml, I can say that this fragrance is absolutely worth it and will surely be well-received. A beautiful sweet-spicy scent with a great warm aura. The packaging comes in a niche box, which I find unnecessary, like most packaging of Arabic cheapies. Bulky and difficult to dispose of, I prefer simpler boxes. Otherwise, it’s not ugly and can look good on the shelf with a small collection. The bottle is okay and somewhat creative. In line with the Art of Arabia concept, you get a bottle in Dubai design. It’s quite okay, but for my taste, it leans a bit towards the trashy side like many from this brand. However, the scent is absolutely worthwhile.
With Art of Arabia III, you get a cozy sweet-spicy fragrance with great oriental vibes, fitting to the name. The scent is beautifully balanced with nice spice, oriental notes, not too sticky sweetness, a bit of smoke, and light gourmand notes. You get a lovely date scent with spicy tobacco and slightly smoky incense. The sweet-fruity-warm Davana note is also quite intense at the start and provides a wonderful harmonious entry into this fragrance. However, in the first hours, the date with gentle and spicy tobacco notes is in the foreground. After a while, a beautiful sandalwood note accompanies this combination. Even though this fragrance has an oriental touch, it is very wearable and pleasant, even for those who are not necessarily fans of the genre. The base of the fragrance is also beautifully warm and sweet with notes leaning towards amber. Tonka, myrrh, resinous vibes, labdanum, and also patchouli. Overall, a great warm base, and in the big picture, this fragrance offers a lot of recognizability. The performance is also quite decent, making this fragrance suitable for all occasions, especially in autumn and winter. The sillage is good but never too overpowering. It also works well in everyday life, despite the sweetness and oriental notes. The longevity is about 8-10 hours, making it very solid.
In conclusion, I can say: Once again, a worthwhile Lattafa that leaves a very high-quality impression and has recognizability. For this price, it’s another great deal.
