Terrifyingly close to Blonde Amber - Drydown reveals the 'Cheapie'
Once again, proof that Lattafa keeps getting better. The opening is very similar to "XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber | Clive Christian," especially on the test strip. However, on the skin and starting from the 2nd hour or in the drydown, you notice that it lacks complexity and power. But spoiler alert: You can spend the 40-50€ blindly and with a clear conscience.

Right after spraying, I immediately get Blonde Amber vibes.
This distinctive mixture of sweet-fruity Davana herb, wood, sweetness from the date (probably significantly), and a very light, young, somewhat sweeter tobacco feels familiar right away.
I don’t directly smell bergamot; it may bring a slight acidity to the Davana spice, but it’s not detectable.

After 30-45 minutes, the sweetness becomes spicier. The (sandalwood) comes forward, and the tonka bean makes its presence known. Nevertheless, this resinous, dripping sweetness from the date is still the main player. Even though it’s not mentioned, I somehow still pick up cocoa in the background.

Do you know that smell when ripe dates are soaked in sugar or glucose syrup and you take a whiff? That’s exactly this almost overwhelming (fruit) sugar bomb. Paired with incense or myrrh.

After 1.5 hours: The scent has changed little. The drydown is rather boring, and you can already tell that the fragrance is nowhere near as complex as its inspiration. The longevity and sillage are also diminishing.
I get slight chewing gum vibes, as I can smell BIG RED. Just replace the cinnamon with the date. Once again, you notice: The Davana-myrrh combo is really well balanced.

After 2.5 hours: The sweetness is gradually fading. I’m grateful for that, as my half arm has rarely been so resinous-sweet :D
Metaphorically speaking, you can now sense how the date is being drained of its liquid, sweetness, and sugar, and it starts to shrivel. From now on, you can also tell that you have a cheapie in front of you: The date doesn’t smell high-quality, but it doesn’t ruin the fragrance with the woody-spicy structure.

Sillage continues to decrease significantly. You now have to stand a bit closer to me to still catch a whiff.
The longevity is still good; it still radiates a bit and is not yet skin-close.

Between 1.5-2.5 hours, its DNA is at its best.

After 3.5 hours: The spice is becoming less and less. It crystallizes further in the next hour towards the direction it will take by the end after about 9 hours: Dripping resin meets dried date and then flows down onto wood.

After 6.5 hours: The Art of Arabia III is only barely detectable on the skin. The date-like sweetness becomes darker; I even pick up slight smoky accords, but you can tell that the fragrance is just giving its last gasps ;-)

--------

Conclusion:
An absolute banger from Lattafa.
For around 50€, you get one of the most elegant going-out and date fragrances I’ve ever had the pleasure of sniffing from the cheapie range. It performs significantly better on the test strip than on the skin, as it has let the entire room know "I’m here, I’m loud!" for 10 hours -- on the skin, it might do that for the first 1.5 hours.

The AoA 3 is absolutely unisex-friendly.
Definitely for the colder season.
By no means a daily wear - it’s too loud and somehow too "noble" to want to 'kill' this beautiful scent by wearing it daily.

No alcohol. No synthetic vibes. All in all, the scent is extremely well-rounded - if it weren’t for the longevity and sillage. But hey - we’re talking about a 50€ perfume ...

Unreserved purchase recommendation. One of the best cheapies!

Blonde Fusel
I tested the fragrance extensively for 2 days. The title sounds significantly more derogatory than my conclusion actually is, but the only thing that bothers me about an otherwise really successful replica is a rather penetrating alcohol note, at least for my nose. I have the original to compare it with. A comparison:

The CC BA feels like a warm embrace that wraps around you, gently laying itself on your skin like cashmere, and whenever you catch a little whiff of it, it speaks to you and says: “I cost a sinful amount, can you smell that? Yes, you can smell that! But you still love me because I simply smell fantastic!”… It’s right!

Now the same scenario with the Art of Arabia 3:

The AoA3, in comparison, does not feel like a warm embrace, but rather like a friendly elbow from a buddy who just embarrassed you in front of a crowd 5 seconds ago. It’s not cashmere, but rather somewhat worn-out cotton, WITHOUT fabric softener. The noticeable breeze whispers: “Look, I’m at least as intense as the expensive stuff! What? A bit boozy? Yeah, I spilled the grain earlier. Not a big deal, don’t be so dramatic, it will fade.”… and that in the gruff tone of a Berlin ticket inspector.

For almost €400 price difference, it’s completely okay; the price of BA doesn’t come from nowhere. But for those with a not-so-bulging wallet, the AoA3 is a totally legitimate alternative.
It lasts long enough, is nearly indistinguishable for 98% of noses, and will still earn a compliment or two. Clear recommendation to buy!

Lattafa delivers simply..
Art of Arabia III is a spicy, sweet, warm fragrance for the colder days of the year, and once again, Lattafa shows what they can do.
This scent smells really beautiful, and over time it gains more depth and becomes rounder.

At first, it is already nice, but I somehow smell a hint of a kind of plum that I don't quite like and which seems a bit "uneven" to me.
In addition, we have a very gentle hint of bergamot and indeed a slightly smoky veil. The smoky veil also doesn't seem perfectly balanced to me, but it's okay.

In the background, however, this totally elegant date sweetness is already recognizable. Over time, this also becomes more intense.
A soft tobacco comes in, along with what feels like a few winter spices like cinnamon.
Furthermore, there is once again this wonderful sandalwood.

Afterward, it becomes even sweeter, but for me, it is never too sweet or overwhelmingly sweet.
Tonka bean, vanilla, and labdanum are at work, and they do it really well.
Labdanum is indeed a fantastic fragrance note that deserves much more attention.

All in all, we have a really beautiful unisex fragrance here, which offers a great price-performance ratio due to its nice DNA and also appealing performance.

Great Oriental with Sweet-Spicy Notes
Once again, a review of a Lattafa. Here is a fragrance from the Lattafa Pride line, which is relatively expensive for this brand at €40. However, the Pride fragrances feel extremely high-quality and could easily be sold for double the price. This Art of Arabia series is extremely popular, starting with the "Art of Arabia I | Lattafa Pride," which resembles LV Imagination. The Art of Arabia II is not as hyped and leans towards the Pegasus Exclusif direction. This III is referred to as a dupe for XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber and "The One Luminous Night | Dolce & Gabbana." I am not familiar with either. The former is far too expensive for just 50ml, and the latter has already been discontinued. In both cases, it’s nice to have an alternative. Even though I don't know the Clive Christian, I don't think this Lattafa matches its quality, but budget-friendly alternatives are sometimes worth buying. If you are looking for perfection and attention to detail, Lattafa might not be the right choice. However, in terms of price-performance ratio, this is a 10 out of 10.

Alongside the Art of Arabia line, the Art of Nature line is currently emerging, which is very similar in presentation. The packaging of this series also resembles it, and in terms of scent, you get alternatives to Althair and Oud Maracuja. But now, back to the Art of Arabia line, which has been on the market for a while. The Art of Arabia III has been somewhat hyped lately, just like the supposedly similar Blonde Amber. For around €35 for 100ml, I can say that this fragrance is absolutely worth it and will surely be well-received. A beautiful sweet-spicy scent with a great warm aura.
The packaging comes in a niche box, which I find unnecessary, like most packaging of Arabic cheapies. Bulky and difficult to dispose of, I prefer simpler boxes. Otherwise, it’s not ugly and can look good on the shelf with a small collection. The bottle is okay and somewhat creative. In line with the Art of Arabia concept, you get a bottle in Dubai design. It’s quite okay, but for my taste, it leans a bit towards the trashy side like many from this brand. However, the scent is absolutely worthwhile.

With Art of Arabia III, you get a cozy sweet-spicy fragrance with great oriental vibes, fitting to the name. The scent is beautifully balanced with nice spice, oriental notes, not too sticky sweetness, a bit of smoke, and light gourmand notes. You get a lovely date scent with spicy tobacco and slightly smoky incense. The sweet-fruity-warm Davana note is also quite intense at the start and provides a wonderful harmonious entry into this fragrance. However, in the first hours, the date with gentle and spicy tobacco notes is in the foreground. After a while, a beautiful sandalwood note accompanies this combination. Even though this fragrance has an oriental touch, it is very wearable and pleasant, even for those who are not necessarily fans of the genre. The base of the fragrance is also beautifully warm and sweet with notes leaning towards amber. Tonka, myrrh, resinous vibes, labdanum, and also patchouli. Overall, a great warm base, and in the big picture, this fragrance offers a lot of recognizability.
The performance is also quite decent, making this fragrance suitable for all occasions, especially in autumn and winter. The sillage is good but never too overpowering. It also works well in everyday life, despite the sweetness and oriental notes. The longevity is about 8-10 hours, making it very solid.

In conclusion, I can say: Once again, a worthwhile Lattafa that leaves a very high-quality impression and has recognizability. For this price, it’s another great deal.

Art of Blonde Amber?
Of course, due to the existing reviews, it is compared to XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber.
However, the opening is completely different for me. Much more vibrant and fruity.
Was I disappointed afterwards?
No, because XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber should remain XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber. I don't want a dupe!

In the drydown, however, I was surprised. The Art of Arabia III has an incredibly fine tobacco note. I had to sniff my wrist all day.
I was blown away by the scent.

An absolute recommendation to buy.
While it comes very close to XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber, it is still an independent fragrance for me.
A great alternative for those who don't want to spend so much money and definitely worth a test even for experienced people!

As much as I’d like to hate it, Lattafa brings the overpriced Blonde Amber to poor students like me for 10% of the price. Good job!
