Pretty strong for a little one

I noticed it because it was available as a nicely packaged gift edition. I liked the solid bottle without much frill right away. Otto Kern, not an unknown name in the fragrance world. So I quickly tested it directly on my pulse without thinking further and not with a strip. It smelled good, it smelled very good! Heavenly this sweetness, but far from being cloying. It had to be cedarwood, and praline is anyway one of my top favorites when it comes to fragrance additives. I stayed in the store for a while because I had some more shopping to do and kept smelling my wrist. The scent pleased me more and more, and it was clear that I would buy it. The whole set, of course, including shower gel and body lotion. A truly heavenly soft, delicate sweet touch. Absolutely recommendable, and on top of that... it lasts a long time and is definitely noticeable when you are among more people. Okay, I do spray myself with 4-5 sprays to achieve a grand effect. In this price range, longevity and sillage are really to be rated as very good. I can only recommend it to all those who enjoy fairy-like delicate sweetness and want to feel absolutely feminine again.

Love-Hate

If there is such a thing, then I have a love-hate relationship with this scent.

At first, I smell berries, raspberry, black and red currants. This is nothing new and has been done a hundred times before. I have at least four similar fragrances in my collection.
The synthetic rose blends with the berries, yes, very similar to Trésor Midnight Rose. Only this scent is much brighter. Commitment is clearer and much cooler. More of a daytime fragrance that carries a hint of freshness.
At some point, I must have tested it and found it to be rather bland. Uninteresting, not long-lasting, without much radiance. But with my last order, there was a sample of the fragrance included, and I tested it calmly at home. And again, there was that artificial plastic rose that I don’t like. No, this one isn’t for me, I thought. However, as the evening went on, my nose and brain got used to this scent. I started to like it more and more, and I fell asleep contentedly sniffing it.
The next morning, there was still a hint of the scent on my coat sleeve and on my scarf, and it scented the whole car on the way to work. It still smelled berry-like and was simultaneously fresh, clear, and clean. A wonderful, clean, and clear woody cedar could be smelled. I had to catch a whiff like an addict again and again, and then it was ordered.
But which version is nicer? The EDT or the EDP?
Not only are the bottles and packaging identical, except for one word - “Toilette” and “Parfum” - I see no difference between the versions.
So it really doesn’t matter which version you get.
By now, I love the scent and occasionally feel something like a strong desire to wear it. The sillage is very pronounced. I smell it throughout the day, the night, and even the next morning. Therefore, I had to revise my initial assessment of its longevity and sillage. And I now consider it unique in the fragrance monotony that is so often offered.
It has its very special note, and you can always recognize it.
Commitment means devotion. My husband immediately comes to mind. He doesn’t react at all to this scent. No comment, no remark, no “Hmmm, you smell good,” or “That scent isn’t for you.” Nothing comes at all. I still don’t know how to categorize the scent in that regard.
But for work, it definitely works.

A Warm Companion for the Upcoming Days

The first time I smelled it, it struck me as very sweet. It wasn't that I felt overwhelmed, but it certainly makes its presence known. However, upon application, it quickly develops into a very creamy scent with a powdery touch, which I ultimately find quite pleasant.

It pairs well with this type among all the winter fragrances and wraps itself nicely around the wearer. As a layperson, I would say that the jasmine is clearly prominent here, underpinning the entire perfume with its fragrance note. A fine woody scent also comes into play, and after about 2 hours, it becomes beautifully creamy and vanilla-like. I feel it fits very well in winter and autumn. In summer, I couldn't wear this combination of powdery, creamy, and vanilla; that would probably be too much of a good thing.

There's really not much more to say about this perfume. It's nothing grand and certainly not something that blows me away. It's actually quite okay, and it's a scent that one can feel comfortable with. For some, it will surely be the epitome of affordable perfumes for warmth.

You can get it for just under €14 / 30 ml. The longevity for me is around 4-5 hours. The bottle is handy, and you can spray it precisely. I find the cap nice, and it feels good in the hand.

Pleasant Everyday Fragrance

First of all, I have the EdP, which certainly has an impact on my assessment of its longevity.
To me, it smells pleasantly fresh at the beginning; I don't consciously perceive the red fruits, as the pepper and champagne seem to soften them for me. It quickly transitions into a pleasant floral phase. No single flower stands out for me; they simply create a nice scent. After about 3 hours, the warm base comes through. A bit woody, a bit vanilla, but nothing particularly noticeable.
For me, it's a lovely everyday fragrance that can be worn at any time. There is practically no sillage. However, the longevity was quite decent; between the 7th and 8th hour, the commitment faded away.

Tresor Midnight Rose in light

"Well now? I know this from somewhere" - were my first words as I smelled the elegant bottle.
I was strolling through the drugstore yesterday and actually wanted to quickly pass by the perfume shelf, but somehow my gaze got stuck on this scent as I walked by. Yes - I wanted to test it.

With the first spray, I immediately notice the sweet notes, which are very subtle and flattering to my nose.
Blackcurrants are clearly perceptible. And then the scent develops 1:1 like Tresor Midnight Rose, only much lighter and "suitable for summer"
where Tresor Midnight Rose smells strong, intense, and powerful, this one develops close, softer, and a bit creamier - Yes, somehow nicer.
( and I say this as a Tresor Midnight Rose lover! )

After a few hours, the scent is still well perceptible, the vanilla and praline are pleasant to smell, the fragrance has something sugary elegant, wonderfully feminine. It caresses me; currently, it's a warm 25 degrees, and it's super wearable.
I am glad to have found and bought this scent, a cheaper and lighter variant than the Tresor, which has been my signature scent for years.
