Nubica Le Couvent 2019

Earthy??? But where???. I am greeted here by a tipsy mandarin, is it the patch...who knows, almost Christmas-like like Tonka Reminiscence. Surprisingly, I am hit by the really beautiful range of tonka vanilla here. Surprise from the house of le Couvent! Nevertheless, it's not a room-filling sillage monster, le Couvent is all about refined restraint. Personally, I really like the scent, as it's wearable all season and every day. It would be too boring to wear vanilla tonka from head to heart to base. For me, it's a daily scent like Lacoste pour femme, always works, conveys a sense of security, classically beautiful, never gets boring.
