A bit generic-sweet and rather loud for a scent by Duchaufour. I also suspect Ethylmaltol here, in addition to Davana and Rum. At first, there's nice Muscat sage and a bit of fresh ginger. Especially lovely are the incense, saffron, and labdanum; I really like that, though it becomes drier and more bitter with a bit of cocoa powder. The beaver castoreum remains very subtle to absent. If it were a little less sweet, it would be a wishlist candidate.

Or maybe not...🤔
Now I know that the hype won't get to me.
I just struggle with the sweetness too.
