Summer is almost over, but today I simply felt like wearing a proper summer fragrance again.
I chose Immortel, a dupe of L'Immensité.
Normally, I am absolutely not the type for pure freshies, but today it just felt right.

As the comparison already suggests, "Immortel" is an extremely crowd-pleasing fragrance.
However, you can tell within the first few seconds that it does not come close to the quality of the original.
You are immediately hit with a synthetic grapefruit-ginger combination that is almost a little too sharp.
The bergamot operates more in the background, contributing its freshness from there.

In the drydown, the whole thing becomes slightly spicy and pleasantly balsamic thanks to rosemary and sage.
Nevertheless, it never loses its citrusy character, as the focus is clearly on the grapefruit and an overall fruitiness.
Those who love the DNA of fragrances such as "Le Gemme - Tygar (Eau de Parfum) | Bvlgari" or Vibrato will definitely love this vibe.

On my skin, the fragrance becomes somewhat darker in the base due to the labdanum, although this is barely noticeable in the air (sillage).
All in all, it remains a crowd-pleasing, fruity compliment-getter right through to the end, giving you a consistently fresh and clean feeling.
You can basically wear it all year round, but of course it unfolds its full potential in summer.

Performance is known to vary from skin to skin. On me, it lasts a good 6 hours, with at most moderate projection.

Conclusion:
Personally, I find it a little too boring, unfortunately.
I am simply not a fan of these thoroughly agreeable freshies and often need a little more uniqueness, which Immortel completely lacks.
However, if you are looking for exactly this fruity-fresh and crowd-pleasing direction, I can wholeheartedly recommend the fragrance.
