Jean Lowe Immortel opens loud and fresh, with a sharp mix of citrus, ginger and aromatic herbs. As it dries down, the spices give it a slightly darker edge, while the bright citrus remains noticeable. Overall, it smells clean, citrusy and spicy, with sage, rosemary and a smooth amber-ambroxan base that has a slightly musky feel.

The resemblance to LV L’Immensité is very noticeable, especially in the fresh and spicy heart. It may not have the same refinement as the original, but for the price, it smells surprisingly good and well put together.

On my skin, it lasts around 5 to 6 hours with good projection and a noticeable scent trail. After that, it stays close to the skin for a while longer. It has also been a real compliment getter for me, which makes it even easier to recommend.
It works especially well during spring and summer, and it is a great choice for everyday wear, the office or casual outings. Overall, one of the better affordable alternatives to L’Immensité.

The opening of this is loud and very strong. It's a blast of aromatics and herbs paired with a sharp ginger and citrus.

As this dried, it developed a rough and darker character from the spices but that contrasts against a very vibrant citrus. Supporting at the base is a solid rounded musk. I'm not getting much aquatic notes but rather just this brighter citrus opening. There's a moderate amount of sage and a dash of rosemary that surrounds everything like a veil; providing a solid earthy quality.

This reminded me of something. So I sprayed Magma Ember Dusk with Sun Kissed. It's exactly that. That combo smells nearly identical to this, just not as sweet = A darker aroma with a hard edged spice combined with a blast of clean citrus and ginger. It's a solid aroma.

I’ve had this for over 2 years and has smoothed a mellowed a modest amount. The ginger and citrus are prominent and quite sweet to my nose. I’m not a huge fan of the ginger. Although not bad, I just prefer to use other frags. Very good quality for the price. I’ve found most if not all of the Jean Lowe line to be surprisingly good performing at the price point.

This dupe is a great interpretation of L’immensite! I get compliments every time I wear it and I mean EVERY time. People who don’t normally speak to me compliment me when I wear this. It’s LV for a HUGE fraction of the price. Get it! Can’t hurt your wallets! From the opening to the dry down, it is truly something beautiful.

Summer is almost over, but today I simply felt like wearing a proper summer fragrance again.
I chose Immortel, a dupe of L'Immensité.
Normally, I am absolutely not the type for pure freshies, but today it just felt right.

As the comparison already suggests, "Immortel" is an extremely crowd-pleasing fragrance.
However, you can tell within the first few seconds that it does not come close to the quality of the original.
You are immediately hit with a synthetic grapefruit-ginger combination that is almost a little too sharp.
The bergamot operates more in the background, contributing its freshness from there.

In the drydown, the whole thing becomes slightly spicy and pleasantly balsamic thanks to rosemary and sage.
Nevertheless, it never loses its citrusy character, as the focus is clearly on the grapefruit and an overall fruitiness.
Those who love the DNA of fragrances such as "Le Gemme - Tygar (Eau de Parfum) | Bvlgari" or Vibrato will definitely love this vibe.

On my skin, the fragrance becomes somewhat darker in the base due to the labdanum, although this is barely noticeable in the air (sillage).
All in all, it remains a crowd-pleasing, fruity compliment-getter right through to the end, giving you a consistently fresh and clean feeling.
You can basically wear it all year round, but of course it unfolds its full potential in summer.

Performance is known to vary from skin to skin. On me, it lasts a good 6 hours, with at most moderate projection.

Conclusion:
Personally, I find it a little too boring, unfortunately.
I am simply not a fan of these thoroughly agreeable freshies and often need a little more uniqueness, which Immortel completely lacks.
However, if you are looking for exactly this fruity-fresh and crowd-pleasing direction, I can wholeheartedly recommend the fragrance.
