I was lucky enough to test Planifolia and I have to say that in comparison they are similar, but then go in different directions. I actually prefer Vanilla Aura now because I find it more pleasing and the vanilla simply has a refined spiciness. Somehow, the scent also reminds me of a smell from my youth that gives me a sense of security and makes me happy. That's probably why I like it so much, as it triggers memories. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what they are. It's totally crazy because at first, I didn't like Vanilla Aura. When I sprayed it for the first time, I found it quite weakly perceivable and more than the vanilla, I noticed a chlorine scent. I was initially disappointed. But especially vanilla scents from Dubai often need some time to mature, so I waited. After a good month, it became this great love that I described above. This wonderful vanilla, really this pod, which is so aromatic-softly spicy. A bit of sweetness, cozy, tonka bean. I take a deep breath and the day is saved when I wear the scent. I love it so much now. I can actually imagine wearing it all year round (not necessarily at 30 degrees) but it’s not too heavy, as the citrus notes make it a bit lighter. A totally versatile daily scent for me that I can always smell. At first, I thought it was weak and didn’t last. Today I am totally happy with the longevity and sillage. The sillage is not too much for those around me, but I can always catch a whiff of it when I move. Dream scent.

Vanilla Aura also reminds me of "the past." Funny that you feel the same way.

Weird, right? I really want to know what it is, but I can't quite place it. It's such a total reminder of the past.
