Orange Overdose
A great, strong freshie with some floral notes combined, Orange Flamingo has a strong, as one might guess, orange opening. Rose is blended in nicely to set a different tone from most orange-citric fragrances I've tried — perhaps that's part of the distinct Flamingo DNA that is shared with the iris-heavy Purple Flamingo (which I admit I'm not fond of).
As the fragrance progresses, the rose comes forth a bit more. It's quite nice to smell, being pleasant and inoffensive.
Projection is nice and strong and I could smell it from a distance. However, this seemed to lack the "beast mode" performance that Orange Flamingo is praised by so many others for. Perhaps I was just unlucky, but I've tried wearing this in multiple scenarios (at work, while running, and while lounging around the house). This fragrance just didn't seem to last as long as expected.
Still a great and loud fragrance to freshen up the morning or spray on after a shower.
