Baltic Sea fougère!
Anyone who has ever been there knows what it smells like. The air is aromatic, filled with delicate salt, the smells of pine groves, moist and fresh. Ferns grow in shady places and rosemary bushes in dry ones. The climate is mostly cool and temperate, it hardly gets "icy" in winter and the heat of summer is limited.
