Freshly Varnished Gym Floor
Spicy, barky, loud. Smells like rubber shoe soles and DSW. A hint of leather jacket. Very clean but in a degerate/cool girl kind of way? Going out for a smoke break in your new doc martens and fresh leather jacket that’s been freshly polished. Warm, cloying amber - feels very thick and resinous. New basketballs in a freshly polished varnished court. Reminds me of middle school, without the gross axe body spray and b.o. It gives me a nostalgia to my youth, to the rec center and team sports. I think it could be gross in the summer. Would wear around the first day of school/early fall time. Could give me a bit of a headache though. It’s what a gym teacher would choose.
