Incense for beginners

This fragrance took me into the depths of niche fragrances. It was the first of many fragrances that made me fall in love with perfume. Sounds very theatrical, but it all started with this one.

It was suggested to me by a good friend who thought I would definitely like incense perfumes. I don't know how he came up with it. I'm still grateful to this day.

I have fond memories of it. The first time I smelled the atomizer and could absolutely believe how good a perfume can smell. I had never smelled anything like it before, as this fragrance is completely different from all the others I had been able to test up to that point. I didn't get to grips with the exact DNA until later.

Now to the fragrance: I personally find it relatively linear, so it doesn't really develop. That's not a problem for me, but if you want a complex fragrance whose notes emerge to varying degrees over time, you're probably in the wrong place.

Ultimately, this fragrance is an incense beast. However, it is not acrid or pungent, but very pleasant and tamed by the vanilla and coffee. The notes together make this fragrance incredibly round and gentle. However, this should not detract from the super H/S, which is definitely there. I would also say that the use of the fragrance should be limited to the cold season, the radiance in summer is (in my opinion) too engaging. In fall/winter, however, I could wear it every day and look forward to using this fragrance again when the time comes. This warm and cozy feeling that is triggered by this fragrance is indescribable.

But those were really all the thoughts I had in my head and hopefully I have put them into this review in a comprehensible way. The Encens Suave definitely deserves more attention!
