First of all, I must say that I am new to the world of niche fragrances and therefore certainly do not have the expertise that seasoned noses here possess, yet I must dedicate a review to this masterpiece of leather creation.

It all started when I thought about which scents I enjoy in my daily life. I realized that "leather smells good." From my past, I was also familiar with the common designer leather fragrances, such as Ombré Leather by Tom Ford, which for me smells more like the fresh synthetic leather seats of a new car and thus is not a pleasure for my nose. But let's focus on Falcon Leather...
After a brief search, I came across this masterpiece. I ordered a sample, my very first niche house sample, and was immediately thrilled upon smelling the fragrance composition. I explained this to myself by saying it must be because it is niche, but as I continued testing fragrances, it became clear that niche does not always mean genius.
Genius perfectly describes this scent.

Scent impression:
Right after spraying the fragrance, it comes on strong. Leather, leather, leather. For some noses, it may even be too intense, but I am simply impressed by this power. Alongside the main component of leather, there is a certain sharpness, which my still inexperienced nose identifies as saffron.
Over time, we are talking about two or three hours, the scent becomes milder, which continues throughout the entire dry down. This leatheriness, which smells so naturally like - for me - fresh suede with a bit of sharpness, develops into a certain creaminess. I cannot quite assess the reason for this as a newcomer, but it makes the overall experience more pleasant for everyone involved.
I can only imagine that upon fresh spraying, the scent might overwhelm some sensitive noses.

Longevity:
The longevity is extremely good, which must partly be attributed to the house Matière Première, as other tested fragrances also exhibit this quality. Sprayed in the morning, it easily lasts until the evening on my skin. In clothing, it seems to disappear not at all until it is washed. In short, excellent.

Sillage:
Just like the longevity, the sillage behaves similarly. With two sprays, one is clearly perceived for several hours in a medium-sized room. There is positive resonance with the scent. Probably because the fragrance exudes masculinity and is captured by this creaminess throughout its development.

Bottle:
I like the bottle, but it is nothing special. The spray quality is superb.
Simple and high-quality sums it up best.

Conclusion:
People who like leather or the scent of it will definitely not be disappointed by Falcon Leather. It is a somewhat different interpretation of a leather perfume, which makes it smell very unique. Moreover, the scent benefits greatly from being accompanied and softened by this creaminess in the dry down.
It is wearable due to its strong potency, especially in cold seasons or on cooler days, although I will definitely try it in summer as well. Especially after the intensity of the first hours has faded, I am sure it will perform very well in summer too.
In conclusion, Falcon Leather by Matière Première is an absolute masterpiece for me when it comes to perfecting leather in a fragrance.
