Falcon Leather Matière Première 2019 Eau de Parfum

Id say this is not a blind buy fragrance specially if you’re new to leather. I tried a sample and I couldn’t convince myself buying it as I was wondering am I going to spray this frequently? It opens beautifully leathery with a bit of serious masculine leather scent. Then it dries down the same way and you still have the scent of bitter benzoin. The smell is leathery and bitter but not animatic, more synthetic and don’t get me wrong it doesn’t mean it’s bad but it’s giving you that synthetic scent. The bitter leathery scent is projected into your nose , bold and edgy that probably is too much edgy for me.
Is this a good fragrance? Yes it is from the house of Matiere Premiere.
Am I buying it? No. Because if I am rather to spend that money, I have more options that satisfies me more and when it comes to niche fragrances and decent money you spend, I always ask this question: am I going to enjoying smelling it into my nose every day for the next 8hours from the time I’m wearing.
Although I know it has lots of lives and fans but I think I will be getting bored of this scent after a couple of tries.
If you’re looking for a complex scent that changes and giving you more broad of scents over the different stages , this is not that one. This is more flat line with the smell that didn’t have that much complexity. Again this is not a bad thing it depends on how you’d like the scent develops on your skin. I’m more fan of complex scents that changes more rather than getting one flat line
