In a moment without intention
[am : bee : doh] - now it is that you find yourself in a moment without intention, as rum like brown light burns through your window, you see dark fruit drying in it, where a bitter spicy resin pearl flows, releasing sweet mushroom spores from the earth, in a gap between everything that happens. Are salt edges on leathery scalps. Ethereal threads of glue on scraps of time that moulder barks and sprout blossoms, blending everything and swirling like hair, following paws of silent trails into a moment of clarity. [am : bee : doh] - I sink my teeth into, I am here, I am part of it.

"Ambedo" is the first spray perfume from the one-man artisan label Mellifluence from Newcastle in England, which previously specialized in high-quality yet affordable attars. The term Ambedo, which in Latin means 'to gnaw, consume' and is also based on the word albedo, 'to reflect and absorb', was used by the American neologist John Koenig as a term for a state of melancholic trance in which one is completely absorbed in vivid sensory details In fact, even in this fragrance you can lose yourself in images of individual details, which then seem to merge into the overall picture in the next moment. First there is a mist of brown rum with dark, dry, fruity aromas, aged in a wooden barrel (davana, Cambodian oud), enriched with bitter, earthy, spicy, balsamic-sweet and sometimes almost wild mushroom-like resins (myrrh, labdanum, opoponax). Salty, vanilla-like resin notes (ambergris, cistus) and champaca underline the sweetness in the heart somewhat, then mingle with the rather spicy, floral Thai oud. A thin ethereal thread of sticky sandalwood notes hovers over all of this, while the base is increasingly characterized by very subtle leathery-animal scalp and hair notes (deer musk, civet), which slowly become one with the skin over several hours like a barely perceptible but nevertheless very attractive pheromone trail, the wearer a part of the here and now.

Very happy to read!
"In a moment without intention"
Is often the moment that changes our lives forever...
Thank you for taking us so vividly on the fragrance journey againπ
The fragrance seems very interesting to me. A pleasure to read!
Your description is once again excellent ππ»
[am : bee : doh] - I sink my teeth into
A little perhaps.
I am here too, follow you into a melancholic trance:-)
So great description again!
Both the word and the scent.
Oh yes, great pictures!
Once you've "muddled" your way through the glue, bubbly, reddish-brown, earthy mellifluents come to light. π I'm still wavering between 7.5 with a tendency towards 8.0, the high-quality smell should be good in warmth. π‘
His first spray fragrance... After all this time.
Everything is parable: a gap between everything that happens, the content between words, the background space between particles... everything is parable.
It gives me great pleasure to follow your thoughts!
