Actually, I'm not a fan of dupe fragrances. But still, I bought a few to test how close they are to the original.
And yes, it does smell like Oud Satin Mood, but there is one thing I have always suspected about dupes, and it has proven true here as well.
The original fragrances, which usually (not always) contain natural scent notes, affect people quite differently, in my experience, than the completely synthetic dupes. I don't know what your perception is on this topic, but I've been noticing this problem for years.
Verstehe den Punkt sehr gut, aber auch Teurere Parfüms werden oft mit synthetischen Stoffen gemischt, sowie auch in billigeren Düften auch öfter mal mit viel natürlichen Stoffen gearbeitet wird. Klar wird bei dem Original oft mehr in die Forschung und Abstimmung des Duftes Investiert und es werden seltene oder sehr spezielle Stoffe genutzt, aber selbst bei Häusern wie Amouage ist bekannt, dass sie synthetik einbeziehen um einen Konstanten Geruch über mehrere Batches zu erhalten.
Wenn es den meisten dann auch nicht mal im 1:1 auffällt, ob man jetzt den OG oder einen Dupe riehct, muss man schon wirklich sehr gewillt sein, den enormen Preisunterschied hinzunehmen.
