Alien is cheating on us ...no Jasmine ..? Yes, yes
Alien Fusion is a skillful flanker in my opinion. An (imagined) jasmine fuses with ginger and orange blossom.
Unfortunately, I don't smell any cinnamon, but I do get a hint of ginger ...it also reminds me a bit of Alien essence Absolue.
What I find great is that Mugler has managed to create an Alien without jasmine that still exhibits the typical DNA of Alien and smells very jasmine-heavy! Either this is due to good marketing or it shows how well Mugler can handle synthetic materials so that we still get the illusion of real jasmine even though there is no jasmine in it !=:) A very successful creamy blend: I can also sniff a bit of tuberose, the combination of tuberose and orange blossom gives me the spicy creaminess and floral notes. Great longevity and sillage as usual!

It reminds me a lot of the EA as well. I actually find it even a bit more pleasant in the base :-)

That's true, the Fusion does have the typical Alien DNA, but it's a bit different-slightly spicier, not as loud, softer, and more vanilla. I also get a hint of Alien Eau Extraordinaire from it. Great flanker!

Why should it be without jasmine? Just because jasmine isn't listed in the pyramid doesn't mean it's not in there. I'm always amazed at how even experienced perfume fans fall into the misconception that the pyramid lists ALL the notes. That's simply not possible for legal reasons, like trade secrets. The pyramid only indicates which scents are dominant, nothing more.

I like the red bottle too, but I'll probably manage with the scent itself... anyway, the original Alien is waaaaay too strong for me. ;)
