This scent transports me to a past beach vacation in the Dominican Republic. The sights, tastes, smells… It opens with a lovely hit of mango, followed by the coconut water note, then the mate, progressing into a light, fluffy, woody vanilla. Suddenly, I’m in my happy place.
I can understand the comparisons to play doh some have drawn. But to my nose, that note reads more like vanilla birthday cake batter; which I love! The matcha and woods keep it from becoming too cloying and juvenile. It stays light and fluffy… happy dust :) IMO it’s a really special perfume and stands out in the current sea of vanilla gourmands.
While the projection is very intimate, the longevity is wild. I sprayed myself at 10:30 am and after taking a shower at 8:00 pm I can still smell a faint whiff on my inner elbows.
It’s hard for me to justify any perfume at this price point so I will cherish this 2 ml decant. Adding to my wishlist for now.
