Sugarwood Nebiru Parfvms 2025

When I learned that Nebiru was launching Gourmands, I was honestly taken aback at first. For me, Nebiru represents a fragrance house that focuses on the highest quality and offers beautiful complexity. My anticipation was huge, but I never expected this fragrance to blow me away like it did.

Right from the very first spray, it starts with a perfect cherry and reminds me of the EMEUKAL cherry candies from the pharmacy, only ten times more intense, warmer, and rounder. It’s as if you’re smelling a cherry that is not too sweet and not artificial at all, but perfectly balanced and incredibly well done.

As the Sugarwood develops, a beautiful amaretto note slowly joins in. The cherry remains in the foreground, but the amaretto beautifully rounds everything off. Shortly after, festive spices come into play: a hint of cinnamon, some creamy vanilla, and a gentle caramel note.

And then the drydown, where it gets really warm. Tonka bean and benzoin lay down like a soft, soothing layer on the skin.

For me personally, Sugarwood is the most beautiful fragrance from the house of Nebiru. I am completely in love with Sugarwood.

For me, it’s clearly an 11 out of 10.
