Not midnight and not leather
Name and note pyramid notwithstanding, Midnight Leather is mostly a fresh woody scent, with hints of leather. It's like a fresher take on Guilty Absolute pour Homme, which sounds like a good thing, but it is not executed well at all. Confused blast of spices opens it up, then very perfume-y airy synthetics enter, kind of reminding me of 4. Montabaco Parfum. Again, that is a very good fragrance that Midnight Leather does not even come close to competing with. Additionally, it fades within a couple of hours with soft sillage throughout its short lifespan. Montabaco doesn't have the leather but it just does what this does a thousand times better.
And "Midnight Leather?" This is neither a nighttime/cold weather fragrance nor really a leather fragrance, very weird choice of name.

Soft suede and vetiver
On my skin the vetiver is prominent, sweetened by drippy blood orange. Ginger, sharp, spicy and delicious is the next note that arrives at my nose, accenting the vetiver. Hints of soapy coriander, fresh and crisp juniper, and the twang of gunflint further shore up this fragrance through the middle notes. Then a beautiful, supple suede arrives, soft and textural. Hints of patchouli mingle with the vetiver at the base.
