The "oud-like" Royal Oud!
If one could immediately perceive the drydown, one would quickly notice the many similarities to Royal Oud.

This one, however, starts much grassier-green and a bit brighter, and indeed, you can also smell natural oud here, certainly not synthetic. However, it is not too strong, rather moving into a very light animalistic area and is even acceptable to me as a "cow shed - oud" hater.

Cedar and sandalwood blend wonderfully into the overall composition. The lemon in the opening is a bit more intense than in Royal Oud, while the slightly bitter angelica shines through its absence here.

Patchouli is only perceptible as a nuance in the very distant background and does not weigh heavily.

However, I cannot understand why "Intense" was integrated into the name, as both the longevity and the sillage are far from a certain intensity!

Price-wise, this fragrance is also very far from a normal budget, and thus the full bottle will not be joining my collection. 645 euros for 100ml seems excessively overpriced to me and unacceptable for the value.

SpeedDating #01/4: Rouge - spicy & authentic
Oud Rouge Intens starts with brief soapy impressions followed by a pronounced, natural Oud. Softly animalic, woody, and slightly medicinal-camphoraceous. Herbal spiciness, indole, and especially the spicy resins are softened by a light background sweetness.
As it develops, it becomes herbaceous, dark green, and almost forest-like, with pepper, patchouli, and wood playing the main role alongside the distinctly noticeable and truly beautiful Oud. It becomes dry-woody. In nuances, the scent reminds me of ROJA's Midsummer Dream. In dry.

As it progresses, the indolic sweetness becomes more pronounced without pushing the fragrance out of its woody-resinous role. I must reiterate at this point that a truly wonderful Oud has been crafted as the radiant heart of the fragrance. Together with Sahraa Oud, it is my favorite among those tested from the brand.

This woody-spicy "oud" scent is very similar to Royal Oud by Creed, except this one has a more dominant pink pepper note at the top.

Something between Creed Royal Oud and Montale Aoud Musk, but with much real oud. Just more unisex than those. Very well made.

General profile: aromatic-woody w/ hints of sweet. Very similar to Creed's Royal Oud (if only a tad spicier). Same performance for 2x price.

Close resemble with creed royal oud, from memory this one is more focused on cedar and pepper. Bit boring honestly

An harmonious blend of zesty citrus, warm woods, and sensual oud. Experience a captivating balance of freshness and depth.

What makes Royal Oud so beautiful is its subtle, elegantly understated nature. Oud Rouge Intense, on the other hand, is loud and way too intense.

No Rouge! (Pencil-)Cedar + slightly sweaty-resinous Oud + musty Patchouli. Minimal freshness at the start. Quickly becomes musty, old-fashioned.

So far, this one from the series has the most depth for me. Oriental-complex, profound. Human warmth or just wood in the sun?

Primarily pleasantly peppery-spicy, also woody. No soft notes. While it remains linear, it offers a great dose of elegance + style. Fine stuff.

Sharp peppery start
Transitions to a woody-earthy scent while remaining spicy
In my opinion, very masculine
Nothing special
