Changeable moon
Black Moon is one of three fragrances from the Artistic Collection, which was released in 2024. Inspired by the melody of the Korean children's song "bandal" about the story of a rabbit growing a cinnamon tree and a protective moon, this fragrance is dedicated to all those who have retained their childlike spirit.
Black Moon starts with a very dry, spicy opening of what I find to be a very successful combination of cinnamon and woody, dry vetiver. Accompanied by the pleasant scent of cedar wood, a very subtle triad of vanilla flower, jasmine and rose unfolds in the heart. Wrapped in smoky notes and green cypress.
For me, Black Moon is surprisingly easy to wear despite some intense fragrance notes that suggest a rather oriental and heavier scent. Clear and bright on the one hand, yet deep on the other with a harmonious woody spiciness and pleasant vanilla. I see the fragrance more as an accompaniment for men.
