Concrete is hopeless!
When I discovered this fragrance in the newcomer section on Parfumo, I immediately wanted to test it.
The name combined with the indicated concrete in the fragrance notes piqued my curiosity. Combined with patchouli, I immediately envisioned a slightly cooled cellar, where it often has that characteristic "concrete-like" and gently musty scent. I believe some will understand the thoughts that drove me.
Now, let's get to reality.
Unfortunately, my wishful thinking was not fulfilled in any way.
Especially with patchouli, musk, and orange blossom, I believe these fragrance notes are extremely variable in their presentation.
They have good sides as well as bad sides.
Patchouli, in particular, can beautifully flank a fragrance with its earthy components, for example, when combined with vetiver.
However, the controversial shrub can also provoke a wrinkled nose because it conveys mustiness. This is the case here, an extremely unattractive patchouli!
The orange blossom lacks freshness; it only brings sweetness and stale vibes.
Labdanum adds a rather prominent, balsamic note, which does not improve the situation; on the contrary.
The musk does not seem clean enough to me, and the leather is immensely bothersome.
Overall, a rather disharmonious composition.
The concrete can initially and subtly still be detected, but it is completely overshadowed by the aforementioned and finds no place.
As you can read, I find no pleasure in this fragrance.
I see no character in it, and if anything, I would associate it more with a woman and also see it more on older individuals.
"Urban modernity," as I read in a description of this fragrance, I do not recognize here even in the slightest.
