health potion
The most appropriate way to smell of mojito whilst on the job. An icy glass of translucent green, with surprisingly solid endurance. This is one where the scent itself carries a temperature, and when I sprayed it on a winter day it almost got my skin to prickle. It’s sweetened in the opening with the blackcurrant – almost Sprite-y – but that fades thirty minutes in. This is what I wanted from ELDO’s You Or Someone Like You, which I found too watery and vegetal to evoke a mojito. When my bottle of Elorea Fire (a fresh leathery lime) runs out, I might replace with this. Note to my fellow fools: this is not the dilute version of the cologne forte. Totally separate notes.

Mental Snapshot: Sipping a cold, stiff glass in the hotel lobby of a subtropical city. Crushed ice, crushed mint, crushed lime. Their AC is cranked to polar. A restorative, cold plunge chill. A gentle slap to the cheek. A health bar blinking to full. Even if you were melting prior, you’re all shivers now. Would you look at that? Your battery is at 100%.

tl;dr: workplace-appropriate mojito

meh...
I was impressed by this fragrance, impressed on how boring this fragrance is specially if you consider it was created by a master perfumer the likes of Francis Kurkdjian.

I haven't been impressed by any of the fragrances I've tried from MFK and this is perhaps the lowest point. To me Aqua Celestia is synthetic AF (synthetic is not necessarily a bad word), generic, forgettable, boring and uninspired. Is it bad? No, it's not bad, it smells fine but you're paying top dollars to smell just fine and generic so it's just not worth it.
Aqua Celestia is also leaning into feminine territory despite being marketed towards men (it's in the men's line) and it's fine, you can wear whatever you want but I for one like more manly scents.

Performance is good, not excellent so once again the price point is just too high for what you get.

Francis Kurkdjian tries his hand at Diorella
And having no pretentions to art, he eschews the over ripe melon and goes for a soft focus l'Eau d'Issey; a bland, full bodied, citrus - fruity - mimosa - musk.

The fact that Roudnitska's masterpiece is now defunct should be the only reason to wear this, and your spondoolics would be better spent on a vintage Dior
IMO.

This is what I want to smell in the height of summer!
Through my test of the MFK brand, this one had to be tested as well. After a premature summary, I must say: The MFK fragrances are largely my thing and of very high quality. Definitely, there are some that would be worth purchasing. At least 1-2 will probably find their way into my collection. With this one, I struggle a bit, even though it is clearly a 10.0 fragrance for me. Reason: I definitely find this scent a bit better on women.

Released in 2017, Aqua Celestia, the heavenly water. A glance at the fragrance pyramid shows it already: A concentrated dose of freshness. Broadly speaking, it goes in a similarly pleasant direction as Aqua Universalis, which I also like very much. But I must say: I like this one a notch better. Here, the fragrance notes are also well divided, as there is no real scent progression. At the forefront, there is fresh lime & mint, which are easily detectable. The lime is incredibly summery-fresh and spreads good cheer. The peppermint is also interesting here and harmonizes well with the lime. This beautiful musk note fits in well here. However, due to one note, it drifts a bit feminine, perhaps the blackcurrant bud. While it can be marketed as a unisex fragrance, I would categorize it about 65:35 towards the feminine. Nevertheless, there are clearly more male wearers. Everyone should decide for themselves based on taste.
From a wearing experience, it is an absolute feel-good fragrance and extremely likable, never too much. It feels well-groomed, extremely clean, like freshly showered, including a full care program. It also reminds me a bit of Versace Versense. From the DNA, it is quite different, but in appearance and fragrance type, these scents go in a similar direction. Great and totally my thing. There is definitely sex appeal, as it fits extremely well with summer outfits and is truly attractive.
Performance is decent... for a fresh fragrance. Of course, with about 120 euros for 70ml, it has a proud price, where one might expect a little more. It is quite noticeable for about 6 hours, then only minimally discreet. The sillage is pleasant, could be a bit better. But it is optimal for everyday and leisure.

Overall, a fragrance that I can totally recommend. Anyone still looking for a well-groomed clean scent and has a bit of money to spare should test this one. Especially the ladies. But also gentlemen looking for a not too harsh summer scent.

Edit April 2020: I have now bought it. For a really good price: 150 euros for 200ml. Originally, it cost around 150 everywhere for 70ml. With my current purchase, it is worth every euro. Just a really great refreshing summer fragrance with that typical MFK freshness note. I also have to upgrade the longevity. Previously judged as fleeting, now tested precisely on the wrist: Over 10 hours, although very mild towards the end. I must say, however, that I am lucky with my skin and fragrances generally last longer. All in all, a great fragrance that can easily be placed in the bathroom for the entire household. I can only recommend it if you find a great offer.

Even Heaven Has Its Limits!
New MFK fragrance = celebration! Thanks to the always very generous and lovely Parfumaholic, I had the pleasure of enjoying a sample of the "heavenly" substance...big thanks for that!
Due to the fragrance notes, my expectations were not exactly exuberant, as they pointed too much towards a rather feminine scent. But the hope and the ever-present belief that MFK would somehow create something truly special from it remained.
For once, I don't want to ramble on for too long (as I usually do), but rather get straight to the point. Aqua Celeste has become a very beautiful fragrance. Extremely authentic and juicy-sparkling lime meets a tolerable amount of mint; Menthe Fraiche was, for example, way too much for me, here it is much better dosed. One almost gets a "Schweppes face" from the real sourness...and I mean that very positively. In the background lurks a nice, soft musk, which somehow lacks something special. After a certain wearing time, I also realized why the fragrance doesn't quite excite and grab me. It is the strong resemblance to Aqua Universalis/Forte, Aqua Vitae/Forte. I discover this "vibe" and the basic structure (base) of these fragrances in Celeste. Because of this repetition of the main theme, my rating is not as exuberant as usual. A) I find fragrance repetitions or only slight variations of an already existing scent or theme like Nasomatto/Parisi or Montale, where only the top note module and the decoration have been exchanged, never particularly impressive, and B) it then simply isn't a new fragrance experience anymore. The result can still be good, but it just doesn't click anymore.
My enthusiasm was also dampened by the fact that all the fragrances mentioned above have a quite pronounced feminine touch, while I am looking for or evaluating a fragrance for myself. Therefore, Celeste is also out for me. Even if one reduces Celeste to a fresh or summer scent, I would prefer the more beautiful and unisex Petit Matin. Because in Celeste, only the top note refreshes me, as Celeste and also the Fortes from MFK become creamy, sultry, and slightly powdery-sweet towards the end. This freshness fades from Celeste hour by hour. From a man's perspective and suitable for men, I rate the fragrance at 75%, while for women, I would rate it at 85%. For those who are not yet familiar with the other MFK fragrances, there is certainly room for a higher rating and enthusiasm.

Conclusion: Unfortunately not for me, very good longevity with 6-7 hours, with decent sillage, to be categorized somewhere in the "clean bear scent," for the asking price there are certainly much cheaper alternatives. Nice but not nice enough...and for me also not distinctly masculine enough. I am sure that in the next 12-18 months there will be a "Forte" of this...even if Celeste is already "forte" enough.

I adore that this smells like a mojito. It would be the perfect summer scent if it didn't immediately disappear from my skin

Reminds me so much of Sprite or 7Up. Light, refreshing, fizzy herbal. A minty musk with hints of fruit underneath.

1st impression: it's nice but very weak and on the feminine side regardless it being on the 'man' collection

It’s a sweet citrusy musky fresh scent, with low performance+sillage. It’s well blended, everyday scent, unisex but doesn’t worth its price.

Sharp lime opening with prominent mint and blackcurrant notes. More muted and musky as it dries down. Weak performance.
