With Swiss Precision
Chocolate, cheese and precision watches… then I say Switzerland, the home of Toblerone, Emmental and Rolex. With this reputation one should think, that if the Swiss ever started making perfumes it would have to be a success.
On oLiente’s website you can read that the perfumes “are made with Swiss precision and passion”. And I admit that this first encounter with the Swiss brand is quite promising, actually. Vida is sweet and floral, to the gourmand side. Freshness comes from the lemon which keeps it from getting too cloying. In this, coconut works so well with the praliné. It lasts some five to eight hours which is quite good. Sillage is an arm’s length.
I must say, though, that I find it rather expensive. Almost €200 on the official website… I am not sure if that is worth it. Mostly because it has so many similarities with Juicy Couture’s Viva La Juicy! and I can get 30ml for around €25. I guess I will spend my money on some other fragrances instead. But keep going, Switzerland!
