Beautiful Fragrance

I originally smelled this on paper in store and really liked it. Floral, candy like, and somewhat youthful, but not overly sweet. More like a suble sour candy you can suck on for hours. My girlfriend wears this all this time and its absolutly intoxicating and one of my favoriate fragrances of all time. I don't understand the low ratings besides maybe leaning generic, but I can recoginze it every time.

[...] A sweet, obnoxious mess. So, she's gone, I don't have her anymore and all I have to offer is this photo [not added here]. I think it's the first time I'm just posting a photo without a review. And I don't like it.

I only remember that I laughed out loudly when I smelled it the first time, because of the backstory of the name, Paradoxe, whereas the fragrance has nothing to do with opposites at all. No duality, nothing contrasting, nothing special. It was so sweet and monotonous I washed it off after a couple of hours, because it was so bad. I honestly remember the jokes I was cracking about it better than I remember how it smelled, because it's so unmemorable.

headache-inducing and uninteresting

I enjoyed the bourbon vanilla base, but everything else about this perfume was so typical, yet screechy. You'd find more unique, pleasing scents at Bath & Body Works. It smells like the perfume area at a department store. I'm going to finish the little sample size I have of this, but it's not worth a purchase imo. There are notes in this I love in many of my favorite perfumes, like pear, jasmine sambac, nectarine, tangerine, white musk, and benzoin, but the white florals are overwhelming combined with the extremely synthetic rendition of pear. It's extremely strong in my opinion, but I do have a sensitive nose and get headaches from fragrance more quickly than average (daily wear is 1-2 sprays max for moderate sillage perfumes).

Disappointing useless basic synthetic and other bad adjectives to describe this perfume with a weak combinaison of florals I feel like I already smell this years ago on women who dont smell good at all when they pass through you and I still smell this kind of fragrance everyday my god that’s what happen with some of these designers fragrance ( not all of them hopefully) and considering the price we can say that the devil won’t perfume himself with Prada
It’s so boring that I forgot the smell (and I’m glad about it)

Paradoxe? More Like Predictable.

Paradoxe is quite the misnomer - where one might expect a surprise, it simply replays an all-too-familiar tune. A bouquet of white flowers, sunlit citrus, soft vanilla, and sugar.

The problem isn’t that it smells bad, but rather that it’s just another variation on the same theme, with an extra dose of sugar for good measure.

A safe fragrance, free of missteps, but also free of real personality.
