The sound of Oregon pines

The riverbed is silent on Cummins Creek, listening to the crackle of pines on Klickitat, where the wind sings ethereal needles and the forest bears eucalyptus. It pulses cool trails of tart resins through bark furrows of mulchy veins, sawing chips and dew from the branches of the oaks into the frost on the green lichens. Shoots soon begin to sprout there. The night begins to flow dark balm and the forest reveals its ancient essence.

Dawn Stewart from Huntington Beach in California creates the fragrances for her label 'Organic Perfume Girl' from handmade tinctures of plants, flowers and herbs, which she combines with high quality essential oils, resins and/or concrètes, all wild harvested or organically grown. All the packaging in which she sends her fragrances are hand-pasted recycled materials, such as old matchboxes for the testers.
"Primal Forest" takes us to the pristine forests of North America with their tart, ethereal eucalyptus notes of pine, needles, woods and resins. The light and cool impression is underlined by fresh oak wood. Damp mosses mingle with green tones, mulchy barks (oud) soon make the picture more vivid, before woody amber, vegetal musk and, above all, dark fir balsam give the ethereally tart aromas from the heart more depth in the base. The sound of Oregon pines presents itself moderately over several hours. You can sink into your thoughts.
