The dawn of dreams
My Dreamy Dusk from Parfois arrived today. A beautiful purist bottle like the ones Berdoues uses. It's a tropical yet light fragrance, as we know it from Chanel, but with much better longevity despite the wallet-friendly price. In the opening I perceive a creamy coconut, not woody, not synthetic. Ylang ylang becomes more present after a few minutes without being overpowering. Rose plays the leading role in the DD. Orange blossom and cooling moss, I would even have guessed a hint of patch, ensure that it is a tropical, floral perfume for hot days. Comparable, as I said, to fragrances by Berdoues and Chanel.
