the opening of this almost knocked me off my feet. it's a very very salty seaweed/saffron/metallic over buttered popcorn at first. i was shocked. it certainly is like being suddenly dumped in a very specific place in time, very photo-realistically.. but it is honestly kind of repellant. mustered the mental fortitude to keep it on longer and the nag champa/churro notes finally came out in the dry down, still surrounded by a kind of weird cuminy/saffron/aquatic aura - something that evoked wet copper pennies. the dry down isn't awful. i appreciate what they were trying to do but i don't think this is physically able to be worn on a day-to-day basis. very strong sillage/lasting power.. for what it's worth.
