Quite a nice scent, but...
I tested Aurora Bliss yesterday at the drugstore. I had never heard of the brand before, and I didn't really find the bottle beautiful either. But since I love fresh, floral scents, I suspected that the fragrance would go in that direction because of the color and the name. I was right, and right from the first sniff, I recognized that it is very similar to Chloé.
The opening is very dry-powdery, but that disappears after 2-3 minutes, leaving mainly the mandarin, rose, and a bit of the woody notes. I like that, but you can tell that it is a cheap drugstore fragrance. The scent notes are somehow not quite balanced and a bit piercing and synthetic. After about 1 hour, you can also smell a bit of the musk. After that, all the scent notes gradually become a bit weaker, and the mandarin comes more and more to the forefront. The next day, I only smell mandarin with woods on the test strip.
The perfume is not as strong as Rosa Dreamscapes from the same brand, so the sillage is not particularly great. The longevity is... well, actually okay.
But to be honest, the price just bothers me. Sure, you get 100ml for €39.99, but the quality is more like that of a €10-15 perfume. I'd rather buy 30ml of the real Chloé for only €35 and have a solid scent.
