Expired rose

I got to admit, i am not a big fan of either rose or patchouli. I had to test it because it came in a discovery set that i ordered. This is a very heavy and bitter scent. It reminds me of a very old school perfume that your grandma used to wear. You found it forgotten by her. But now since it was sitting on the shelf untouched for probably decades, it went rancid a little and turned into this generic old expired perfume smell. I don't perceive it as feminine, to my nose, this is 100% masculine. Rose is only fleeting, patchouli completely overpowers the scent. The longevity is super strong though, i still had it on my wrists after washing them with soap.
