A temperature shape shifter?
I feel like I need to write a longer review of this perfume, because my original statement was based on a first impression when I tested it during summer.
First impression (warm weather):
Back then, it smelled like church to me - strong incense, a bit stuffy. It felt serious, and I didn’t think it was something I’d wear.
Retest (cold weather):
Now that I’m trying it again in winter, it smells completely different. The incense is gone and I’m picking up more green, sappy notes, like fresh tree sap or a broken stem. It has a sharp, earthy freshness. The mint is there but very faint, more like a cool breeze than anything sweet or strong.
Last Word feels a lot more alive and natural this time around. Less about incense, more like walking through a damp forest. Glad I gave it another try, it surprised me.
