The deepest point of the sea smells too ordinary to me.......what a shame
God, was I curious. The wonderful concept surrounding these two likable guys and their Swiss-made fragrances made me so curious that I ordered the first scent "Masar" as a sample last year and, after trying it, immediately gifted it away.
Good scent, certainly......but too oriental for me. No problem, so far so good.
Today we are talking about "Vitias." The scent is supposed to evoke the deepest point of the sea. Complete darkness. Ice-cold. Strange creatures. Pure fascination....and a little fear. Like an end and a new beginning. Cool, I thought......this promises to be interesting. Sample ordered, waited, opened the sample, applied it and.....yes, and?
Mentally already heading towards the Mariana Trench, I got stuck in the shallow-warm broth of Lake Neuchâtel. Bergamot? Yes! Lime? Yes! Mixed pepper? Yes! Everything I love is there, but it doesn't take me into the depths of the sea; instead, it leaves me lying on some random beach. Don't get me wrong. Vitias is a good scent and I like it. But Vitias remains arbitrary, longevity and sillage are not spectacular either, and with 250 CHF for 50 ml, the price/performance ratio is thus underground.
