Fovere - Sweetness Forever
The wordplay may not be very original, but it somehow seems fitting. Because if you can immediately associate Fovere with something, it is sweetness. And it is a rather carefree sweetness that seems to be composed of many components, such as bergamot, lavender, as well as tobacco flower and, above all, amber-like notes.
But there is also a hint of sharp ginger, very soft rum, and not-so-earthy patchouli to be found. I even suspected a pinch of cardamom - but it is not listed.
At this point, one naturally tries to draw connections with the familiar, with the mentioned "Naxos | XerJoff" and "Grand Soir | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" coming to mind, the former being without honey and the latter without resin - and overall a good idea lighter.
This impression takes quite some time to develop, before later becoming softer again with musk, tonka bean, and vanilla, and above all a bit more gourmand. Sandalwood adds a small spark of welcome mystique.
Alongside all the mentioned facets, I also catch a whiff of soapiness... and I keep thinking about cardamom. After all, the spiciness that is indicated alongside the sweetness must come from somewhere.
In conclusion, it can be said that Fovere is a successful debut for the brand Phil Julian and absolutely has its place. Those who disdain sweet fragrances will certainly not be converted by this, but it offers an appealing and trendy vibe that works both in summer and winter. In my eyes, a refined sweet scent that, although it neither really lasts "Forever" nor necessarily offers monster projection, still has a lot to offer in that regard and will definitely make its way.
Congratulations on that... and I am curious to see what else the brand hatches. Keep it up!

An uncomplicated scent that will surely find its fans, as it seems to have been composed quite carefully.
It will be interesting to see how a "strange bird" can settle into a community.
The courage to take this step deserves recognition.
