Tom Ford dressed as Jack Sparrow
After I have owned a small tester of Philipp Pleins push into the perfume world for a few weeks now, I have... Mixed feelings...

Since the bottler is an acquaintance of mine, I had the pleasure of seeing even this bottle. The design is a matter of taste, but it is heavy and beautifully crafted... The glass is not completely black but rather a little bit... Milky smoky purple. It really looks quite impressive, if you like this morbid pirate humour.

The opening is intense. It is. Pepper, alcohol and something creamy (I guess vanilla) hit you in the face, while leather and cardamom are getting to kick your ass...

It's really not a great top note for my taste...

But it's worth waiting for when you get warm with intense scents like Tobacco Oud and its varieties... I can't help but think of Dark Rebels by John Varvatos. Leathery, almost coffee-like earthy tones that are slightly broken up after an hour of flowery fresh accents and thus made even more special... This is really unique. At least I can't think of any other heavy scent that brings in feminine tones later on. Reminds me strongly of the Plein answer to Fucking Fabulous. Just as strange, difficult to wear and fascinating.

But the whole thing then remains mostly like this until the scent is already at its limits...

So far, so strange...

Only there is one thing: The part costs 350€.

After 6 hours you can no longer smell anything. Nothing.
No one I asked either. I generally dose scents a little bit over.

Conclusion:
Less a fragrance, but more a 350€ expensive fragrance experience. This is by no means badly done, even if Plein really can't score any sympathy points in the subconscious. Without several tests I would not buy it.

Wow, beard wax for 350 €
Really disappointed The scents have given rise to hopes of something interesting. Especially the chord of pepper, wood, leather and aquatic notes aroused my interest.
In addition, the fragrance is located in the luxury segment.

That's why I joined the sharing.

What I was hoping for: Nice sensational water with a touch of "Niche" and a certain touch of luxury

What I got: Liquid beard wax that sticks to the skin like hulle

No fun, the scent smells identical to the beard wax "Bart Royal Bartwachs" from Men-Royal in the fragrance "Oud Wood"!
Available at drugstores with the M for 8 Euro.
Durability is very strong. Barely washed off
Unisex, no way. Rather something for men over 50.

Plein, we won't be friends.

Interesting tastelessness
I had little expectation of this fragrance. Get to know each other yes, but never for 350 EUR. Then sharing made it possible.
The clothes of Philipp Plein are unbearable for me, all the time, which is partly due to my age, because I have long outgrown all the skull flashing. On the other hand, the fabrics and leather are of high quality, but the rivets and metal plates make it look chunky and I think that understatement in the wardrobe is more important The bottle is so tasteless that I would probably have walked past it in any perfumery with a grin But now the fragrance itself:
I'm surprised. There are associations, but everything related is not so intense. I like the slightly pungent note of cardamom and pepper. The addition of a warm soft leather is convincing. However, the scent does not develop. It is quite linear for me. Vanilla and amber try to tame the spiciness. And this interplay is what makes it so appealing. I like it, warm-sweetish versus spicy-pungent. I can't smell the aquatic life clearly.
I am often in the Canary Islands in the boutiques of The Mint Company, where I consciously noticed Philipp Plein clothes for the first time. The scent immediately transports me to these boutiques, which could possibly be due to the similar room scent in the boutiques. As I said, the least is wearable for me, nevertheless well sorted and no junk.
The $kull is also not junk. I am not yet sure if it was created like the clothes for would-be BadBoys who can and want to buy such things thanks to daddy's bourgeois board job, or if it is even wearable for me.
Even if I bought it, I would fill the €350 fragrance in a different bottle and leave the tasteless original bottle in the shop

Inside Huii outside Pfuii
I too was completely unknown until the Sharing PP. Had informed me about him on the Internet, so the style of his clothes is really very unusual and for my taste very ugly. But it is probably a matter of taste, not to mention the price...

But since I am always curious about new fragrances, I had to participate in the sharing, of course, and yet I was very curious, since I like leather every now and then and in combination with vanilla and peppery spices it sounded very interesting to me :)

The smell:
Directly with the spotting I noticed that this one would probably please me very much. As hoped for, leather with the peppery spices and vanilla come into their own. Due to the aquatic note mentioned above, the fragrance does not appear too austere and musty, but rather slightly fresh and young. This is fine, light leather, already strong but never too much or too bulky. The vanilla (for me rather a vanilla pod) round this off beautifully. It is already sweet but the dark ingredients make it a suitable unit. Every now and then I have to think about car oil but not dirty or rancid. So I have never known a fragrance before, for me it is something completely new. A great leather-vanilla scent with slightly dark and fresh notes, Yes, I like it very much :)

Shelf life:
So on my skin the scent lingers about 4-5 hours, so it could be something more, the Sillage is very intense and penetrating at the beginning, but this flattens after about 30 minutes and then a slight pinch of the fragrance blows around the nose, but for me with this fragrance is perfectly sufficient, because otherwise it could quickly become too much and perhaps even cause a slight headache, so it is better to dose a little more discreetly.

Flacon:
Yes, for me this one is really poo, I am not a fan of skulls and this one is very deterrent for me. I don't have to have something like that on my shelf but PP has adapted his clothes line to it, so it must be like this ;)

So I am very enthusiastic about the fragrance despite the completely overpriced price. I really like this leather-vanilla station wagon. The fragrance is perfect in the cold season but even if it is a bit warmer I could imagine it. But since the price is completely exaggerated, only very few will test and wear this fragrance, but so there is a chance to smell different than all the others... A few ml of the scent I could get hold of, depending on my mood I will carry it outside the house.

A new Morillas
The skull is the confirmation that a nose does not always have to be identified with a specific style.
Alberto Morillas is one of the most talented perfumers of our era: however, I have always considered him too fond of femininity for my tastes.
With this fragrance, he incredibly transforms himself into an interpreter of the most extreme, raw and carnal sensuality.
A spicy creation in the opening, with a very decisive and impactful leathery accord, which I like very much.
It's not for everyone, it's really particular and strong, incisive, but it brought me back to a lustful and hard, but incredibly magnetic world.
