The name is the BEST description
Cesar forest by Ponsa Barcelona is like being into q forest with the smell of the wood, Moss, the leafes and the humidity. It makes me remember when i was a clild and staying in my family's village i Saw my grandparents cutting logs for firewood to burn them after in the fireplace. So cedar forest is that, humid cut wood over a spicy and balsámic back.
The smell of the perfume is very natural, you can realize that all the ingredients here are natural. The longevity is moderate, about 7-8 hours on skin, and also the sillage.
The perfume is unisex and very weareable. I think is good for daytime un not very Sunny days. This is a real olfactive experience.

The Atmospherically Calm Element of Cedar
Alejandro Ponsa has released three fragrances so far, hailing from Spain, and does not stand out due to an inflationary release policy in the first years. That is quite likable at first. In fact, I only came across the brand through a misdelivery, where Cedar Forest (as a sample) was accidentally sent. Initially, I was somewhat taken with it. However, over time, my interest and fondness for Cedar Forest matured, especially in terms of its proper classification.

The fragrance begins with the familiar pencil note of cedar. It does not come across as too dry but rather spicy and relatively complex. The cedar - although not actually listed in the ingredients - feels alive, the forest breathing. The dry, characteristic cedar note is omnipresent yet allows for space. Space for the other elements of a forest that is not situated in swampy or cold landscapes. No, it is pleasantly warm; the sun warms the treetops, which provide both pleasant shade and coolness for everything beneath them.

One practically strolls through this forest, this cedar grove. Warm-woody notes accompany us, creating an intensity that is gradually heightened. Cedar Forest draws the inclined olfactory guest in, ever more intensely, akin to the warmth of a summer day. Balsamic-bitter dryness, an opening and broader cedar note pave the way.

In principle, the notes crystallize after about an hour. Oak moss provides the cool ground, taking away the vanilla note from the benzoin, which thus becomes simply pleasantly woody. The evoked cedar becomes fluid and shadowy, fading without retreating into the background. The pleasing amber nuances occasionally flash beneath the moss, adding more refinement to the fragrance.

What more is there to say? Not much. Cedar Forest is one of those relatively consistent, atmospheric fragrances. Neither very extroverted nor too quiet, with moderate longevity. Essentially, just as one might expect. I personally appreciate cedar fragrances, and they do not need to be complex or all-day long for me, but only to create the right atmosphere, the right feeling. For that, Cedar Forest is predestined, and that is why it enriches my collection in just a few days.

Dry, dusty cedarwood, but then also a bright, sour note; resin and green are plausible from the heart note.

First pencil cedar, then it gets more humid but remains warm. It becomes somewhat sticky-balsamic. Overall, very successful.

A damp forest at sunrise. Moss and resins slowly warm up. The sunbeams make the scents warmer and more familiar.

The scent of fresh wood, the earth is damp, the sun warms the amber, a hint of citrus on glowing oak moss. A forest walk.

I would have expected coniferous resins in the notes here. Blended with moss-covered deadwood pieces. A fascinating ambivalence (...)

Smells like old books to me and too one-dimensional. I probably have a different idea of "forest scent" - it's missing the sweetness and is too harsh.
